Information about us and our company

Extel Communications started out as a partnership formed by two ex-Bell Canada employees. Due to de regulation of inside wiring, it became possible to choose your own contractor to install, repair and service all inside wiring, both residential and business.

This was the catalyst for Roger Carr to leave Bell in 1995 and start Extel. With Roger's extensive telecommunications experience and a keen sense of the needs of the Muskoka community, Extel provides fast, efficient and reliable service for both residential and business clients.

Roger has incorporated his skills in telecommunication to volunteer in community projects such as the local Women's Shelter, Chrysalis as well as Huntsville Hospice. Roger and Jana are proud to be raising their boys in Muskoka while servicing the needs of the community through their business.

Roger and Jana Carr live in Huntsville, Ontario with their two boys, Trevor and Justin. The Carr's are a busy family with church and community involvements. Both Roger and Jana feel that it is important to give back to the community in which you work.
